GLEN ECHO, MD — Artist Julie Wallace will exhibit work in the 55th Annual Labor Day Art Show, presented by the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. The exhibition and sale runs Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7, 2026, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the historic Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park. Admission is free and open to the public.
Now in its 55th year, the Labor Day Art Show is one of the region’s longest-running juried exhibitions, featuring the work of more than 400 artists from across the mid-Atlantic. Media on view include painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, glass, fiber, jewelry, and sculpture. Nearly all work in the show is available for purchase, with sales supporting both the participating artists and the Park’s year-round arts programming.
Wallace will show Shibuya Scramble, Giclée Print, 22 x 30 inches, 2026.
An opening reception will be held Friday, September 4, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Spanish Ballroom. Many exhibiting artists, including Wallace, will be in attendance. A donor preview precedes the reception from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a donor reception in the Bumper Car Pavilion; donors and members may RSVP at glenechopark.org/rsvpLDAS.
Also during the holiday weekend, Global Rhythms: Music, Dance & Storytelling from Around the World takes place Saturday, September 5, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Bumper Car Pavilion.
